    christmas with the family was a delightful time today. lots of presents that i'm thankfull for. but most of all i'm thankfull for my family. they're the best. i just wish i didn't have to go back to san diego tomorrow and back to work on monday. but hopefully this week will go by quickly, and then i'm home again for a night. it's worth that one or two nights a weekend for me. it's my vacation.

  • I'm not from San Diego, but my husband is stationed there on the John C. Stennis (on North Island). I've been out there twice to visit him, but the ship leaves on Wednesday for their new homeport in Washington.

    I loved it out there though! It was gorgeous. Too bad I'm not moving out there. Right now,  I live in Dallas, but hopefully by the end of this month I'll be in Washington with my husband.
