here's an interesting golf course for all you golfers. the course is at the base right next to the brand new barrecks (which i'm currently living in). the picture was taken from my room after monday and tuesdays' storm... i love it when mother nature makes real obstacles.
this week has been really great for me. i'm currently t.a.d. to naval air base till the beginning of march because we're doing some major overhaul (rebuild) on the captains boat. i had tuesday off, wends i worked for about a half hour, thursday i worked for about 2. but yesterday i had duty - staying on the ship for 24 hours - which is the only time i'm there. anyway, it was a slow duty day. i slept through most of it, and i had the midnight to 0400 messanger of the watch (which is what it sounds like). a boring new years start...
but i'm home for just tonight, so that's made up for yesterday.

its sad. he's been there longer and i'm the navigator...he calls me here in texas asking if i remember how to get places. i've only visited twice--the first week in november for their homecoming and then last weekend for xmas...and i got us everywhere!
